Appearance: Iolaus is approximately 5'6" in height. He is of an athletic build, although not overly muscular, with average skin tone. He has curly, sand-blonde hair, extending to his shoulders and in a constant state of disarray. He wears a reddish brown leather vest and dark-brown pants. He wears a jade dragon necklace. Ioalus has the look of the rogue about him.

Status: Human Hero, and Herc's sidekick.

Personality: Iolaus is brave and heroic. He works hard to make the world a better place for others, and does not hesitate when the need arises to do battle or to help the less fortunate. Through his journeys with Hercules, Iolaus has become an experienced world traveler. He has a fondness for women and is always at his best when aiding a woman is distress. His weak points include making wise decisions on the spur-of-the-moment and taking an active leadership role. He has an excellent sense of humor and judges people on their merits before their flaws.

Iolaus a skilled warrior and a good and loyal friend to Hercules, though he often doubts his worth compared to his Half-God friend. He is quick and agile. Strong and well-trained, on his own Iolaus is quite capable, but with Hercules at his side the two make an exceptional team.

Past: Iolaus started life as a young thief. Hercules got Iolaus started on the right path and the two became quick and life-long companions. Early in life, Iolous, Herc and Jason were close friends and remain so to this day.
